The drawing series Internal Affairs examines the interference of different photo archives from the same historical period. The work creates an independent image archive at the interconnection between individual and collective memories of the former state of East Germany. Photographs from private albums and from public archives, taken during the same period, serve as initial material for the charcoal drawings and create multiple perspectives on the history of a former autocracy.
The charcoal drawings have a format of 30x21 cm and are exhibited on 4 tables.
